Case Study #1- Restaurant Chain

Overview: A Southeastern group of 200 fast food restaurants had been working with another professional services firm. The company was convinced they were aggressively pursuing all available tax credits. Due to an in-depth knowledge of the 31 state of Georgia and 28 Federal tax credits, additional monies were identified for significant potential of increased use of Retraining Credits and Empowerment Zone tax credits.

Outcome: Company received a combined cash savings of $500,000 over the last two year period. The restaurant group members were also able to apply the findings from the Free HR tax credit audit to manage their cash flow more efficiently, buy new equipment, increase the flexibility and efficiency of their staff hiring programs and increase franchise owner profits.

Case Study #2 - Manufacturing Company

Overview: A 2500-employee manufacturing operation in the midst of an operational expansion asked for a FREE Tax Credit HR analysis to review opportunities to utilize state and federal tax credits. The company was implementing new software, purchasing and replacing production equipment, and hiring on a regular basis.

Outcome: Over a three-year period more than $2,000,000 in tax credits tied to the manufacturer’s investment in new equipment and training on software, equipment, and quality systems was identified. Case Study #3 - Fast Food Restaurant Chain

Overview: A national burger franchisee had 60 locations in the southeast. They were working with another professional services firm that assured them they were receiving the full value of their available tax credits. Our deep knowledge and experience of the 31 State of Georgia and 28 Federal tax credits determined that multiple tax credit opportunities were unfulfilled.

Outcome: The franchisee received $400,000 in tax credit savings within a 2 year period.

Case Study #4 - Heavy Manufacturing Company

Overview: A 150-person heavy manufacturing company had reviewed tax credits in prior years and did not believe they could qualify for tax credit benefits. They accepted the offer of the FREE HR tax credit study. The company had expanded its employee base in recent years and added equipment and plant capacity.

Outcome: In the first 15 months of the client relationship more than $330,000 in tax credits were identified. Additionally, another $140,000 in future tax credits were discovered. This led to tax refunds from earlier years that totaled more than $2000 per full-time position in the plant.
